I DO NOT PERFORM THE TREATMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING INDICATIONS (CONTRA-INDICATIONS SkinPen®):

Active skin cancer in the treatment area

Open wounds, soreness or irritated skin in the treatment area

Allergic to stainless steel or anesthetics

Hemorrhagic (bleeding) disease or hemostatic (bleeding) dysfunction

Pregnant, Lactating

Isotretinoin (such as Accutane) within the last 6 months

ATTENTION! This product is not intended for transdermal (under the skin) delivery of topical products, such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or biological agents.

 

PRECAUTIONS

Actinic (solar) keratosis

Active acne

Collagen vascular diseases or cardiac abnormalities

Diabetes

Eczema, Psoriasis, other chronic conditions in the treatment area or on other areas of the body

Immunosuppressive treatment

History of contact dermatitis

Raised liver spots in the treatment area

Rosacea

Active bacterial or fungal infection

Active herpes simplex infections (such as cold sores)

Warts

Keloid scarring

Patients taking anticoagulants (blood thinners)

Scars and stretch marks that are younger than a year

Scleroderma and difficult-to-heal wounds

INFORMATION BEFORE TREATMENT

Avoid sun exposure and discontinue topical retinol treatment 24 hours before the procedure.

After autoimmune therapy, you should wait at least 24 hours before starting treatment.

You should wait six months after taking isotretinoin (such as Accutane) before being treated.

 

INFORMATION AFTER TREATMENT

Dryness, hard skin, tightening sensation, redness, itching, flaky skin, discomfort, soreness and burning sensation. These conditions improved after some time without any further complications.

Reactivation of the herpes simplex virus (cold sores) can occur

Pigmentation changes that include lighter or darker skin in the treatment area that disappear over time

Within the first 72 hours after treatment, avoid sweaty exercises and sun exposure. Exposure to these conditions may result in: itching, burning, stinging and tingling, flaky/dry skin, redness, swelling and soreness/discomfort.

 

INFORMATION AFTER-PROCESSING - PRODUCTS

Lift HG – wound-healing hydrogel (without drugs and/or biological agents)

Protects against friction during the microneedling procedure.

Apply as needed on irritated, sensitive or affected skin. Reapply as needed in 24 hours.

Skinfuse® RESCUE – soothing cream

Apply the Cosmetic Soothing Cream liberally as needed to soothe and calm the skin. Used 24 -72 hours after treatment.

Contains magnesium, zinc, and copper, while ethyl macaidalate and sodium hyaluronate help soothe and calm the skin. pH of 6.0-7.0: near-neutral
